These terms set the rules for using this site. Read them first. Coming to any page, running a search, or reading what is published here means you accept everything listed below. The sections cover what the site is, how it may be used, and where its limits lie. If you do not accept these conditions, leave the site and stop using it. The terms apply to every visitor, whether you are checking your own status or helping a family member check theirs.

NO FCRA USE. This website is privately owned and run. It has no affiliation with any local, state, or federal government body, court, or law enforcement office. Neither this site nor any of our advertising partners offer services built for credit checks, employment screening, insurance underwriting, tenant evaluation, or any other purpose the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) covers. The site exists to help visitors find warrant information and resources for Carver County and Minnesota. We are not a private investigation firm, and we are not a consumer reporting agency.

1. What This Website Is

This is a private reference site. We run it on our own, with no ties to any government office, court, or sheriff. We do not hold official warrant records, and we cannot run a warrant check, recall a warrant, post bond, or file documents for anyone.

What we do is point readers toward the offices that hold Carver County warrant information, including the Sheriff's Office Warrants Division that serves warrants, the Carver County District Court that issues them, and the state's case-records system, and connect you with outside tools that may help with your research.

2. Informational Use Only

Everything here is general information. We explain how warrants and warrant records typically work in Carver County, but the content is not a substitute for an official warrant check, an order of a court, or the advice of an attorney. Minnesota's records law is part of that picture too: the Minnesota Government Data Practices Act, Minnesota Statutes Chapter 13, governs how the county handles government data, and Section 13.82 limits what is released while an investigation is active. Treat all of it as a starting point, then confirm what matters with the Warrants Division or the District Court that issued the warrant.

3. Not for Screening or Locating People

This site is built to help a person check for and resolve a warrant, their own or a family member's, and to understand how the process works. It is not a tool for investigating other people. You agree that you will not use this site or any tool linked from it to:

  • Locate, monitor, track, or target any individual
  • Stalk, harass, intimidate, or threaten anyone
  • Screen anyone for employment, housing, tenancy, or credit
  • Make any decision covered by the FCRA (see below)

4. Rules for Using This Site

You agree that you will not:

  • Do anything that slows the site down or blocks other people from using it
  • Try to break into our systems or reach data you are not supposed to have
  • Run bots, scrapers, or automated tools against our pages
  • Break any federal, state, or local law while using this site

5. We Are Not a Consumer Reporting Agency

We are not a consumer reporting agency under the FCRA. We do not produce background checks, credit reports, or consumer reports of any kind. Neither we nor our advertising partners sell services built for screening job applicants, reviewing rental applications, pricing insurance, or judging creditworthiness. You agree not to use data from this site or any linked tool to:

  • Judge creditworthiness or set insurance premiums
  • Decide whether to hire or fire someone
  • Screen potential renters or housing applicants
  • Determine who qualifies for licenses, permits, or government programs
  • Do anything else that falls under FCRA rules

If you need a background check for any of those purposes, use an FCRA-compliant screening company.

6. No Legal Advice

Nothing on this site is legal advice. We explain how warrants generally work in Carver County, but we cannot say how a warrant, charge, bond, or court date applies to your situation. For that, talk to a licensed Minnesota attorney.

7. Accuracy Is Not Guaranteed

Everything on this site is provided "as is." We do not guarantee that:

  • The information here is accurate, complete, or current at any given time
  • The site will stay up and running without interruptions
  • Our pages are free of errors, bugs, or security holes
  • Results from our partner search tools will be thorough or accurate

Warrants are issued, recalled, and served constantly, so a warrant can be added, cleared, or served within the hour, and an online list may lag behind. We try to keep up, but gaps are unavoidable. Nothing on this site should be treated as an official statement from a court or sheriff. Always verify a warrant's status with the court that issued it or the Sheriff's Office Warrants Division before you rely on it.

8. Third-Party Services and Links

We link to sheriff's office sites, court portals, the state's case-records system, legal aid organizations, and outside search services across this site. Following one of those links moves you off this site and onto one we do not control. We are not responsible for their content, how they handle data, what they charge, or whether they stay online. Check their terms before using them.

9. Intellectual Property

All text, graphics, logos, and code on this site belong to Carver County Warrant Records or our content partners. You may not copy, distribute, modify, or build on our content without written permission first.

10. Limits on Our Liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for damages that come from using this site, including decisions made based on information found here or through any linked service.

11. Indemnification

You agree to hold us harmless from any claim, legal action, or demand that grows out of how you used this site or from breaking these terms. That includes covering our legal fees and related costs.

12. Governing Law

These terms fall under the laws of the State of Minnesota. Any legal dispute connected to your use of this site must be filed in courts located in Minnesota.

13. Changes to These Terms

We can update these terms whenever we see fit. New terms take effect the moment they appear on this page.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can you tell me if I have a warrant?

No. We are a private reference site with no access to any warrant system. You can run a warrant search yourself or contact the Sheriff's Office Warrants Division.

Can you recall or clear a warrant for me?

No. Only the District Court that issued a warrant can recall or clear it. Talk to an attorney and the issuing court.

Is a warrant listing on a linked tool official?

No. Warrant data on outside tools may be incomplete or out of date. The official status comes from the court that issued the warrant or the Sheriff's Office Warrants Division.
