This Is Not a Government or Law Enforcement Office. We run a private reference site. We cannot confirm whether a warrant exists, recall or clear one, post bond, arrange a surrender, or give legal advice to anyone. For any of those, reach the Sheriff's Office or the court that issued the warrant directly.
Need Official Warrant Information?
Almost every warrant question in Carver County belongs with the Sheriff's Office, the District Court, or the state court system. The routing below points each one to the right counter:
- Whether a warrant is active: call the Sheriff's Office Warrants Division, which keeps the operational warrant record and can check a full name and date of birth for the person concerned
- A missed court date or an unpaid fine: call Carver County Court Administration, because the Carver County District Court sets the case and holds the warrant file
- Recalling, clearing, or posting bond: speak with a licensed Minnesota attorney and the District Court that issued the warrant about a recall motion, a voluntary surrender, or bond
- A traffic ticket or city ordinance matter: the District Court's violations bureau handles payable citations, and the Minnesota Court Payment Center takes payment
For a warrant held at the county level, the first call is the Carver County Sheriff's Office Warrants Division, 606 E 4th Street, Chaska, MN 55318, 952-361-1281, open Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The same building houses the jail, which accepts a voluntary surrender 24 hours a day. Court dates, file numbers, and questions about which judge signed a warrant go to Court Administration at 604 E Fourth Street, Chaska, MN 55318, 952-361-1420. After hours, the Sheriff's Dispatch line, 952-361-1231, can route a call. The county's own Active Warrants page carries the public list, and case records can be checked through the state's Minnesota Court Records Online service.
